UC reorganizes football staff
University of Cincinnati football coach Rick Minter has reorganized his staff by appointing Joe Daniels as offensive coordinator and adding former University of Houston receivers coach Tyrone Dixon to the staff.
Minter said he promoted Daniels from his former job as assistant head coach. Daniels had worked with the wide receivers and running backs during his first three years.
Dixon becomes assistant head coach and receivers coach on Minter's staff.
Greg Hudson was promoted from linebackers coach to assistant head coach. Offensive line coach Larry Zierlein was given additional duties as coordinator of the Bearcats' running game.
Cincinnati begins its spring football practices Wednesday. The annual spring game is April 29 in Nippert Stadium.
