Satterfield, Logan finalists for U.S. team
UC guards Kenny Satterfield and Steve Logan and Kentucky forward Tayshaun Prince are among 16 finalists for the U.S. team that will try to qualify for the under-20 basketball world championships.
The finalists will be pared to 12 players at a July 10-17 training camp in Miami, Fla.
Although we don't have any true low posts or centers, we've got a lot of guys who are flexible and who can do a lot of things, said Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim, who will guide the United States at the regional qualifying tournament July 19-23 in Riberao Preto, Brazil.
The world championships are next year in Japan.
