University of Cincinnati junior Kevin Youkilis has been named second-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

The Sycamore High graduate is the fourth UC baseball player to be named All-American and first since Pat Maginn earned second-team honors in 1967.

Youkilis led Conference USA in five offensive categories and was named first-team All-Conference USA. He hit .352 with 21 doubles, 19 home runs and 75 runs scored while starting all 60 games at third base.
