Molony wins consolation title
PIKESVILLE, Md. University of Cincinnati tennis player Kara Molony earned the consolation title at the T. Rowe Price National Intercollegiate Clay Court Championship.
Molony (Notre Dame Academy), ranked No. 45 nationally, rallied from 5-1 down in the first to defeat Vida Mulec of Baylor 7-6, 6-3.
The Clay Court Championship is the first leg of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Grand Slam.
