Each team's keys to winning

• 9 p.m. today
• TV: ESPN
Live TotalCast
• UC: WLW (700)
• XU: WKRC (550)
        Cincinnati

       • Make outside shots if XU goes to a zone, which was so effective against the Bearcats last year.

        • Attack any full-court pressure applied by Xavier and try to score before the Musketeers can set up their defense.

        • Sophomore center Donald Little has to play hard, stay out of foul trouble and hold his own against David West.

        • Rebound.

        • Don't turn over the ball or allow XU easy baskets.

        Xavier

        • Rebound. UC has been outrebounded by opponents by an average of 3.8 a game, and XU needs to get second-shot opportunities.

        • Contain Kenny Satterfield. The UC point guard is deadly in transition, and his penetration ability could defuse any zone defenses XU might be planning.

        • Get cheap baskets. XU is forcing an average of 20.7 turnovers a game, and turning some of those into layups may prove the difference.

        • Go to Maurice McAfee. He is the most experienced Musketeer, so he must find a way to score and be active elsewhere on the floor.

        • Make 3-pointers. XU is shooting just .291 from long range, making an average of six 3-pointers a game.
