Women: Louisville 72, UC 58
The University of Cincinnati's women's basketball team (10-2) had an eight-game winning streak snapped with a 72-58 loss at Louisville (6-6) Monday in the Conference USA opener for both teams.
Tammy Douglass led Cincinnati with her second career double-double with 13 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
Laura Wilder had 16 points, while KB Sharp dished out eight assists.
UC plays Houston at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Shoemaker Center.
