Tulane women 83, UC 74
The Bearcats lost their fourth straight road game, falling in New Orleans in a Conference USA game Sunday.
Freshman Valerie King scored a game-high 28 points and tied a UC record with six 3-pointers. She broke into UC's top 10 career leaders for season 3-pointers (35) and career 3-pointers (35) made.
Laura Wilder had 14 points and Mindy Hammond added 10 points, yet UC still fell to 14-6 (4-5 C-USA).
Cincinnati outrebounded Tulane 38-31 and forced the Green Wave into 22 turnovers. The difference in the game: Tulane shot 52 percent from the field, while UC managed just 39.7 percent.
The Bearcats led the majority of the first half until Tulane went on a 7-0 run with less than one minute remaining to take its first lead, 33-31, at the half.
