Online opinions on Satterfield
How online basketball analysts forecast Kenny Satterfield's fate in today's NBA draft:
Mike Kahn, cbs.sportsline.com: Projects Satterfield going with the last pick of the first round (28th overall) to San Antonio. Satterfield isn't quite ready yet, but he's thrived at a top-notch program, has shooting range and has a point guard handle. As witnessed in the Western Conference finals, the Spurs' backcourt is aging very rapidly.
Tony Mejia, cbs.sportsline.com: Projects Satterfield going in the second round (41st overall) to Indiana.
Thesportingnews.com: Doesn't include Satterfield in its first-round mock draft and doesn't project second-round picks; does have him in the second-20 range (which equates to 40th overall).
CNNSI.com: Doesn't include Satterfield in its first-round mock draft and doesn't project second-round picks.
Foxsports.com: Doesn't include Satterfield in its first-round mock draft and doesn't project second-round picks. But in its prediction of Auburn point guard Jamison Brewer going to San Antonio in the last pick of the first round (29th overall), says Cincinnati's Kenny Satterfield or Clemson's Will Solomon could also be the choice.
ESPN.com: Doesn't include Satterfield in its first-round mock draft and doesn't project second-round picks. But Andy Katz writes: Satterfield has the scorer's mentality as a combo guard, but he's a point in the NBA. He's one of the better on-the-ball defenders in this draft. He should go late in the first, but there's a chance he could be a steal for someone atop the second round.
