UC hoops ready to 'Salute'
By Michael Perry, mperry@enquirer.com
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Instead of its typical postseason basketball awards banquet, the University of Cincinnati is holding an open-to-the-public Salute to a Special Season program tonight at Shoemaker Center.
Admission is free.
The program will feature video highlights of the season, an autograph session with players and presentations of team, Conference USA and national awards. Concession stands will be open (hot dogs will sell for $1).
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. An hour-long autograph session starts at 5:45 in the concourse area (team photos will be distributed). The program will start at 7 p.m.
Seating is first-come, first-served. General admission tickets are available at the UC Athletic Ticket Office and will also be available at the door tonight.
