Senior guard K.B. Sharp scored her 1,000th career point and became the Bearcats' all-time leader in minutes played.

Sharp, already UC's all-time assists leader, scored 17 points and surpassed the school record of 3,940 minutes played, set by Keely Freeman from 1983-86. Sharp also added six assists and nine rebounds.

Bearcats sophomore Debbie Merrill posted a season-high 28 points with 10 rebounds.

She scored in double figures for the 22nd straight time and 45th time in 54 career games. It was Merrill's 17th career double-double and fifth in the last seven games.

Jennifer Jackson carried East Carolina, scoring 29 of their 69 points.
