DAYTON - The Bearcats held the Flyers to 23-percent field-goal shooting in the second half on the way to their fifth straight win.
Cincinnati (6-1) went on a 20-2 run during the last 10 minutes of the game to send Dayton (1-5) to its fifth straight loss.
"We did a very good job adjusting in the second half," said Cincinnati coach Laurie Pirtle.
Anne Stephens posted her first career double-double to lead the Bearcats with 16 points and 10 rebounds, both career highs. Debbie Merrill led UC in rebounds with 17, and scored 12 points to earn her 23rd career double-double.
UC's Treasure Humphries finished with 12 points and two steals.
