Houston game moved

BY TOM GROESCHEN
The Cincinnati Enquirer

UC's Oct. 18 game at Houston, originally scheduled for the Astrodome, has been switched to the school's on-campus Robertson Stadium because of a possible conflict with the Houston Astros.

Should the Astros make the World Series, they would host Game One in the Astrodome Oct. 18.

Robertson Stadium seats only 22,000 but could provide a stronger home-field advantage for the Cougars, who draw poorly in the 60,000-seat Astrodome.

Donna Turner, football publicist for Houston, said the UC-Houston game might be moved up from its 8 p.m. (EDT) start, depending on the Astros. For now, the UC-Houston start time is being listed ''TBA.''

Even if the Astros are immediately ousted from their playoffs, Turner said the UC-Houston game will remain at Robertson Stadium.
