        Mike Mahon, Phil Bengel and Steve Miller combined to score 20 points in the second and third quarters when Elder pulled away for a 69-50 win over Purcell Marian Friday night.

Greater Miami Conference games
        Steve Graves had 24 points, including two crucial free throws late in the fourth quarter, to help give Lakota East a 57-52 victory over Princeton in Greater Miami Conference action at Lakota East.

Miami Valley Conference games
        Austin Mitchell scored 24 points to lead CCD over St. Bernard 70-46.

Mid-Miami League games
        Talawanda went on a 34-8 run late in the second half to cap a come-from-behind 68-63 victory over Franklin.

Queen City Conference games
        Mount Healthy went on a 17-3 run during the final four minutes to upset Withrow 65-59 in Queen City Conference action Friday at Mount Healthy.

Southern Buckeye Conference games
        Ian Lafferty scored 10 of his 18 points in the third quarter as Clermont Northeastern expanded a one-point halftime lead and went on to take a 71-61 win over Georgetown 61.

Other Greater Cincinnati games
        Senior center Dan Celenza had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Landmark Christian over Clark Montessori 59-4.

N.Ky. boys basketball games
        Senior forward Jeremy Stephenson scored a career-high 31 points and matched a career high with six 3-pointers, leading Conner to a 79-58 victory over Simon Kenton Friday night.

SE Indiana games
        East Central held high-scoring Brandon Gabberd to 14 points in a 54-40 win over South Dearborn.

No. 1 Winton Woods looks beyond unbeaten mark
        The scenario is the same as last season — the Winton Woods boys basketball team is undefeated at 10-0. While the Warriors are halfway to matching last season's perfect regular season, they hope their postseason lasts longer than a year ago.
