Mr. Clinton, you have lied to your family, your friends, the grand jury, the American people and the world. It was your continued lies, not Mr. Starr, that cost the taxpayers millions of dollars.

At this point, any reasonable American could not place much value in any self-serving response you may have. As for your apology, keep it. You remind me of a child caught doing something wrong, only showing remorse when facing the punishment.

3. Lied before a federal grand jury
Please resign for the best of the country.

Look into history, FDR had an affair, but he told the truth and it didn't harm his presidency.

We need an honest president representing the United States. One with good character.

- James L. Sudenga, Florence, Ky.
If you had been truthful from the beginning regarding your encounter with Ms. Lewinsky, the public would be critical. The public is important, but your relationship with your God is most important.
- Lois Wright, Mount Healthy
When any employee of mine stares me in the face and points a finger and lies to me, he is out the door!
- Carla Paniel, Madeira
You are deceiving yourself if you believe you have any integrity.

God can forgive you, but there are still scars and consequences from your unacceptable behavior. We are praying for you.
- G. Wayne Bridges, Independence
Resign! If you're sick, get help, but not in the White House. We do not ŒŒfeel your pain.'' P.S. Take Hillary with you.
- Robert B. Stollard, Madeira
Why don't you follow the advice you gave to Richard Nixon in 1974 when he lied and resign now!
