Mini Cooper 'like a go-kart'

George Fee
George Fee proudly shows off his Mini Cooper at his home in Wyoming. He praises its design, agility and "the neatness factor."
The Enquirer/CRAIG RUTTLE

First Car: A 1962 MG. "It was a beautiful car. I was very sad when they left the market."

Dream Car: An Astor Martin Vanquish. "I suppose if it had to be any car it would be English. It has a V-12 and how knows how many horsepower. It's the James Bond car."

George Fee loves his blue Mini Cooper so much he even waxes the white rims. Fee, a longtime lover of British cars, has had his Mini for eight months. It also features racing stripes.

"It's almost like driving a go-kart," he says. "It's almost instinctive. If you think to turn right, you turn right. It's that quick ... and extremely agile. It appeals to me because of its design and the neatness factor. I have to wax the wheels because they are white and they collect brake dust."

He may have to wax the wheels, but he doesn't have to use much water to wash the tiny Mini.
