Doris Marks Callis, special-events coordinator for AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati, can be found behind the wheel of a Honda Element with Gore-Tex seats and black rubber flooring and sides that she hoses out after her two dogs and cat go riding with her.
"I've gone from a Jag to a Mercedes to this Honda Element and I love it. Everywhere I go, even when I'm pumping gas, people ask me about it. It's a small SUV, but it kind of looks like a baby Hummie."
First car: She started driving "at 16 or 17 in the world's ugliest beige and gold Chevy Citation."
Next car: "I don't know, but a convertible for sure. I envy people who drive around for six months with their tops down."
