A helium balloon was the only thing Tuesday that marked the spot where Michael Tenhundfeld lost his life two days before a few blocks from Cinergy Field.
Today, friends and family will begin saying their goodbyes. Visitation for the 18-year-old Oak Hills High School graduate killed in Sunday's crash is from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Gilligan-Siefke Funeral Home, 3671 Warsaw Ave.
Mr. Tenhundfeld was leaving his job at a snack booth at Cinergy Field Sunday night when a police cruiser involved in a chase ran a stop sign and crashed into his Honda. Two passengers are recovering. Mr. Tenhundfeld was an only child who leaves behind a daughter, Kiona Mikole Harmon, who was born in October and his mother, Margaret Tenhundfeld.
A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Lawrence Church, 3680 Warsaw Ave., in Price Hill, with a burial following at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
The family asks that contributions be made to the Kiona Mikole Harmon Trust Fund c/o Jennifer Harmon, 11941 Fifth Ave., Cincinnati, 45249.
