Gaggle of companies involved in the project

Some key firms involved in the design and construction of Paul Brown Stadium:

Getz Ventures, project manager. Getz Ventures, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., lead planning, design, construction and operations. Norm Getz is project director, and Dan Streyle is project manager. Mr. Getz led the completion of the Carolina Panthers' football stadium. Mr. Streyle, who has an office here, managed the renovation of Riverfront Coliseum into the Crown.

NBBJ Sports and Entertainment, project architect. NBBJ, based in Los Angeles, is the second-largest architectural design firm in the United States.

In addition to Paul Brown Stadium, NBBJ is the architect for the new Xavier University and Columbus arenas, the San Francisco 49ers football stadium and baseball parks for the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners.

Turner - Barton Mallow - D.A.G., construction manager. Turner - Barton Mallow - D.A.G. is a joint venture developed specifically to manage construction of Paul Brown Stadium.

Turner's Cincinnati office has been in place since 1954. Local projects include the Albert B. Sabin Convention Center.

Barton Mallow, based in Detroit, is ranked as the eighth-largest builder in the country. The company has been particularly active in sports construction, including Camden Yards in Baltimore, Coors Field in Denver and the Baltimore Ravens' football stadium. D.A.G., which has offices here, was formed in 1990 as a minority-owned enterprise. The firm worked on the University of Cincinnati's DAAP building.

Glaser Associates, support architects. Glaser Associates, with offices downtown, is providing support work for NBBJ Sports and Entertainment through design work on the site, the plaza and the building's exterior.

Projects include additions to the Playhouse in the Park, adapting Union Terminal for the Museum Center, and Bicentennial Commons at Sawyer Point.
