40 students from area win Merit Scholarships

Forty Cincinnati-area students were among some 2,400 honored across the United States in the latest round of National Merit Scholarship awards.

They were chosen for academic achievements and other accomplishments. The college-sponsored awards provide between $250 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution providing the funding.
