Health groups urge children to wear helmets

Monday, June 15, 1998

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Local youngsters are being urged to "Use Your Head -- Use a Helmet." Children's Hospital Medical Center and ChoiceCare - Humana are teaming up to encourage children to wear helmets when bicycling, skateboarding and skating.

In an effort to increase the use of helmets, they are being offered at a reduced cost.

Bicycle helmets can be purchased for $10, and multisport helmets are available for $15.

Helmets can be purchased in a variety of locations, including Cincinnati Children's Outpatient Services locations.

For more information, call 636-5851.
