Brandt to teach at Xavier

Wednesday, August 5, 1998

J. Michael Brandt, retired Cincinnati Public Schools superintendent, is trading a relaxing retirement for a full-time job with Xavier University.

Mr. Brandt, who headed the school district for seven years before retiring last month, will teach in Xavier's graduate educational program, act as liaison with Cincinnati-area schools, help with curriculum development and direct special projects for the education department.

Mr. Brandt, who has a master's degree in secondary school administration from Xavier, has lectured at Xavier part-time since 1973.
