But his baby sitter, the alleged getaway driver, is in the Hamilton County Justice Center in lieu of $175,000 cash.

Cincinnati police say Sarah Schmidt, 21, of Sharonville fled the crime scene with the child in the back seat Tuesday morning after a robbery at Fifth Third Bank at Harrison and Spring Grove avenues in the West End.

Ms. Schmidt had handcuffs on her left wrist, but the officer left her to chase a suspect who ran out of her car.

Police say she may have bought a used truck with some of the cash from the heist before she was caught when a tip led officers to her whereabouts.

Others implicated in the robbery also received high bonds Wednesdayin Hamilton County Municipal Court:

Trenton Pope, 18, of Madisonville and Clifford Jones, 21, of the West End each face three counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of kidnapping, and $500,000 cash bonds.

Eric Chaffer, 18, of the West End is charged with three counts of complicity to commit aggravated robbery and one count of grand theft auto. He faces a $400,000 cash bond.

Timothy Pope, 19, of Madisonville, faces three counts of aggravated robbery and a $150,000 cash bond.

A grand jury is scheduled to hear their cases by Aug. 14.
