Getting an early start on the weekend, the Valley Vineyards Wine Festival near Morrow begins today and continues through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day. Visitors may try their hands -- and feet -- at crushing grapes, sampling wines and listening to music. An amateur wine-making contest takes place Saturday.

Food and craft booths, entertainment, a 10K race, a used-book sale and thousands of apples will highlight the annual Applefest in downtown Lebanon on Saturday.

To make sure there's plenty to do in Lebanon, the Warren County Historical Society will have a bread sale and flea market Saturday at the museum, 105 S. Broadway. Shoppers will find a variety of homemade breads, household items and books. Proceeds will benefit the museum's acquisitions fund.
Hours of the sale are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
