1st Congressional District, Ohio: Republican incumbent Steve Chabot and Democratic challenger Roxanne Qualls plan four debates:

  • Sunday, Sept. 27, 7:30 p.m., Cheviot Field House.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 13, 7:30 p.m., Delhi Senior Center.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 20 or 27, 2:30 p.m., University of Cincinnati Institute of Learning and Retirement.

  • Thursday, Oct. 22, 7:30 p.m., the studios of WVXU (91.7 FM).

4th Congressional District, Kentucky: Republican Gex "Jay" Williams and Democrat Ken Lucas plan debates at 8 p.m., Oct. 8, on Kentucky Educational Television, and at noon, Oct. 10, at Northern Kentucky University.

U.S. Senate, Ohio: Republican George Voinovich and Democrat Mary Boyle plan a debate at 8 p.m., Oct. 15, in Dayton, Ohio.

U.S. Senate, Kentucky: Republican Jim Bunning and Democrat Scotty Baesler plan debates at 8 p.m., Oct. 4 and 11, from KET studios in Lexington.

Hamilton County commission: Republican incumbent Tom Neyer Jr. and Democrat Marilyn Hyland will debate at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 5, at Sycamore High School.
