Cincinnati police have classified a 15-year-old Evanston runaway as a "critical missing person" because she is manic-depressive and schizophrenic.
The police division launches critical missing investigations when a missing person has a medical condition or is elderly or very young.
Lauren Ward, of the 3500 block of Bevis Avenue, was last seen Sundaynight at the Lighthouse Runaway Shelter on Stratford Avenue in University Heights. An employee told police Lauren got into a van with the license plate AKQ2118.
Lauren is described as a 5-foot-3, 140-pound black girl with brown hair and brown eyes.
