Saturday, October 10, 1998

Cincinnati police, with the help of federal and Arizona officials, made one arrest in a bust Friday in University Heights that confiscated more than $300,000 worth of marijuana.

Derrick Harrison, 40, was charged with drug possession. He was being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center Friday night. With the help of Cincinnati police units, Arizona state police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, police raided the Interstate Motel at 3035 W. McMicken Ave.

Officers confiscated about 123 pounds of marijuana, police said. The drug has a street value of about $320,000.
