Twenty-two educators, business leaders, parents and students participated in The Cincinnati Enquirer's Education Readers' Forum Monday night:

  • Ann Boyle, assistant superintendent of Princeton City Schools.

  • Gary Conley, a Clifton resident and president of the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Sciences in Carthage, which trains workers and provides engineering and productivity improvement programs for Tristate manufacturers.

  • Stan Corkin, University of Cincinnati assistant English professor, parent of two Cincinnati Public Schools students, member of the Coalition for an Accountable School Board.

  • Brenda Crowley, parent of students at North College Hill High School and Clovernook Elementary School.

  • Barry Day, parent, Winton Woods.

  • Rick Friedman, parent, Sycamore Community School District; member of Sycamore's planning commission; co-founder of group opposing bond issue in November.

  • Barbara Hammel, superintendent, Deer Park schools.

  • Rachel Hutzel, assistant Warren County prosecutor who prosecutes child-abuse cases, Lebanon City School District volunteer and parent, and volunteer on levy campaigns.

  • Tony Jones, fiance of Brenda Crowley

  • Mary Jane Kenyon, retired parent, Sycamore schools; member of the school district's planning commission, co-founder of bond-opposition group.

  • Dennis Matthews, Withrow High School principal and parent in Sycamore schools.

  • Nicole Menke, education student at the University of Cincinnati

  • Mary Ann Mushaben, mother of four and member of the PTO and a volunteer coordinator at St. Susanna Catholic School, Mason.

  • Sue Nitz, parent, Fairfield schools.

  • David Nordyke, founder of the Harmony Community School in Bond Hill. Also helped research Ohio's charter school law.

  • Jackie Seymour, parent who runs a volunteer tutoring program in Winton Woods schools.

  • Art Sill, parent in Winton Woods district

  • Robin Solazzo, new principal of South Lebanon Elementary School, Kings Local School District. She's also been principal in Butler County.

  • Debra Spencer, Spanish teacher at Lebanon High School and Loveland resident.

  • John Varis, superintendent, Reading Community School District.

  • Gwendolyn Womack, teacher, Taft High School and Queen City Vocational Center; heads a teen pregnancy - young mother program.

  • Greg Ziegler, vice president of personnel of Cincinnati Financial Corp., which has a business partnership with several Colerain Township schools.
