Work to shut some ramps to Fort Washington Way

Thursday, October 15, 1998

BY

Ramps from southbound Interstate 75 and eastbound U.S. 50 to Fort Washington Way will be closed overnight today, Friday and Saturday so crews can install traffic controls for construction.

The ramps will be closed:

  • 11 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Friday.

  • 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

  • 11 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.

Signs will direct traffic on southbound I-75 and eastbound U.S. 50 to use the Fifth Street exit to connect with Interstate 71 north, U.S. 50 (Columbia Parkway) east or Interstate 471 south. Eastbound U.S. 50 traffic can also take I-75 north to the Norwood Lateral (Ohio 562) to get to I-71 north. Traffic on eastbound U.S. 50 can also get to I-71, I-471 or U.S. 50 (Columbia Parkway) east by taking Mehring Way to eastbound Pete Rose Way, to Broadway north to Fifth Street.

Detours will be posted.
