  • Edison Technology Centers: Expand the program, and expand university-business relationships generally. Create an Edison Center for Information Technology.

  • Tech-Prep: Expand these programs that integrate high school with two-year colleges to help students develop skills for high-tech industries.

  • Work force development: Consolidate and streamline the state's dozens of training programs.

  • Venture capital: Create a tax credit for investment in fledgling venture capital funds. Explore use of state pension funds for venture capital. Expand tax credits and deductions for investment in high-tech companies.

  • Venture capital: Develop an Ohio Entrepreneurs Assistance Network to assist new businesses, venture capitalists and lenders.
