Cincinnati police raided six downtown merchants Friday morning accused of selling counterfeit items.

Search warrants were served as investigators confiscated boxes of merchandise with illegal trademarks, including Disney, Guess? and Warner Bros. The locations, most along Race Street, were targeted for allegedly selling counterfeit jewelry and clothing, police said.

Businesses raided were Duke Brothers, 636 Race St.; Jewelry Outlet, 612 Race St.; Metro Jewelers, 611 Race St.; Tri-State Jewelers, 630 Race St.; Tri-State Jewelers, 40 E. Sixth St.; and Youngtown, 617 Race St.

There were no arrests reported Friday night in connection with the raids.
