HAMILTON -- A Butler County man was arrested after a vehicle he was driving struck and killed a Hamilton pedestrian early Wednesday, police say.
Mark Eugene Seeley, 27, of South Ninth Street was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital Hamilton at 12:10 a.m., about 30 minutes after he was struck in the 1300 block of Grand Boulevard.
Donald K. Langdon, 44, of Hamilton-Princeton Road was arrested at the scene on charges of driving while under suspension and driving while intoxicated.
Mr. Langdon is likely to face more charges in the wake of Mr. Seeley's death, said Sgt. Thomas E. Kilgour, Hamilton police spokesman. Police say they smelled alcohol on Mr. Langdon and he "stated that he had been drinking."
