  • Todd Joseph Gutekunst has been named business consulting manager at Arthur Andersen, Cincinnati. Mr. Gutekunst graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He has been with the company since 1993.

  • Karen Hillis has joined Northlich Stolley LaWarre as account manager in account service; and Laura Spitzer, assistant account manager in public relations.

  • Patricia B. Hogan has become counsel to the law firm of Keating, Muething & Klekamp, P.L.L.

  • Appointed board officers at the Springer School: Anthony W. Hobson, vice president and counsel for North American Properties, president; Richard J. Blum, president, Kirk and Blum Manufacturing, vice president; H.C. Buck Niehoff, partner, Peck, Shaffer and Williams and a Springer alumni parent, treasurer; and Dr. Sarah O. Steinman, clinical psychologist, secretary. Joining the board of trustees are Dr. Andrew C. Eustis, executive director of the Center for Adaptive Management and a Springer alumni parent; Charles H. Gerhardt III, manager of public strategies for Cinergy Corp.; Donna Hartman, communications officer for the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati; Lydia Jacobs-Horton, manager of the real estate department at Procter & Gamble; and Stephen T. MacConnell, senior vice president for legal and human resources at Student Loan Funding Resources Inc.

  • Ralph D. Neal has been named manager, training and development, at Employers Resource Association. Mr Neal will focus on developing and presenting management training programs for members in leadership, problem-solving and decision-making, customer service and communication. He was vice president of Mertz, Neal & Associates.
