DAYTON - Charlie Young and Jimmy Hill each rushed for more than 100 yards to lead Dayton over Bellevue 31-6 at Dayton in the Class A playoffs Friday.
Young paced the rushing attack with 148 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns; Hill added 126 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Dayton took a 31-0 lead before Bellevue scored late in the fourth quarter.
Dayton's defense held Bellevue to 86 yards of offense; the Greendevils gained 344 yards.
Dayton plays Beechwood on Friday night at Beechwood.
