Cincinnati Public Schools' redesign plan puts schools in categories based on performance and improvements over the past three years. "School Incentive" designations were based on the last academic year only. Clark Montessori, Gamble, Kirby Road and Schwab were not placed in categories because they had major changes in the students they serve. The categories:
School Incentive (eligible for greater flexibility and autonomy): Carson, Central Fairmount, Quebec Heights, Washburn.
School Achievement (eligible for greater flexibility and autonomy): Anderson Place, Carthage, College Hill, Eastern Hills, Eastwood Paideia, Kilgour, Midway, North Avondale, Oyler, Pleasant Hill, Porter, Sands, Walnut Hills, Winton Montessori.
School Improvement (school staffs will review and revise their current plan to improve performance; the deputy superintendent will review the plan): Aiken, Academy of World Languages, Bloom, Bramble, Cheviot, Covedale, Dater, Fairview, Hartwell, Hays, Heinold, Hoffman, Hughes, Hyde Park, Jacobs Center, Linwood, McKinley, Millvale, Mount Washington, North Fairmount, Pleasant Ridge, Roberts, Roselawn Condon, Sayler Park, Schiel, School for Creative and Performing Arts, Shroder, Silverton, Swifton,
