Seminars offer helping hand to working women

MIDDLETOWN — Four workshops designed to help women increase their effectiveness in the workplace will be offered by Office for Continuing Education at Miami University Middletown.
The seminars are led by Lisa Nack and Cindy Reuther, who together have 25 years of experience in providing training and development services to a variety of organizations.
The first session is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and focuses on creativity. Participants will discuss understanding the creative person and the creative process. They will identify obstacles to creativity in the workplace and learn ways to foster a creative climate.
Future sessions and topics are: leadership, Feb. 26; risk-taking, March 19; and synergy, April 16.
All sessions will be in Verity Lodge on the Miami Middletown campus, and each costs $65.
