13th annual Martin Luther King Awards Banquet.

Miscellaneous: Tickets are $35 a person. Cincinnati African American Firefighters and Sentinel Police Association will present awards for outstanding performance and community service.

When: Monday, 11:15 a.m. Ecumenical prayers and comments, then march to Music Hall, 1241 Elm St. Program begins at noon; keynote speech by Walnut Hills High School graduate Bari-Ellen Roberts, author of Roberts Vs. Texaco, and presentation by the MLK Jr. Chorale.
Miscellaneous: Ms. Roberts will sign copies of her book from 3-5 p.m. at the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati, 2400 Reading Road.
