WINNIPEG The Cincinnati Cyclones scored twice in the final 11:39 of regulation to tie it and then defeated the Manitoba Moose 5-4 in the shootout Saturday night.
The IHL victory was Cincinnati's ninth in the month of January (against four losses), tying the club record for victories in the month set by the 1994-95 squad.
Cyclones left wing Gilbert Dionne's 21st goal of the season with 1:52 to play tied the game at 4-4 and forced the extra session. Cincinnati center Fred Knipscheer scored the lone goal of the shootout.
