Miami back in Top 25
The Associated Press
OXFORD Miami moved back into the national rankings Monday,
ranked 25th in the Associated Press poll.
It's good. We're finally seeing some recognition, guard Damon Frierson said Monday. ... We're playing as a team now. We're winning basket ball games, and we don't care who scores the points.
The RedHawks were ranked in the second and third polls of this season, their first time in the rankings since the 1977-78 season.
The RedHawks dropped out following losses to Xavier and Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Miami (19-4) has won seven in a row and 12 of 13.
