KETTERING, Ohio The parents of Erica Baker, the 9-year-old Kettering girl who vanished Feb. 7, will soon appear on Oprah Winfrey, said Greg Baker, Erica's father.
Mr. Baker said he and his ex-wife, Misty Baker, will fly from Dayton International Airport on Wednesday to appear on the show, which will be taped Thursday in Chicago. He was unsure when the show will air but hopes it spreads the word about Erica's disappearance.

Mr. Baker said he confirmed Sunday with an Oprah staffer that he and his ex-wife will appear on the show.
Oprah staffers have requested photos and videos of Erica, he said.
Mr. Baker said police continue to follow leads from a recent episode of America's Most Wanted, which aired Feb. 13 on Fox.
America's Most Wanted had an update during Saturday's show. A man reportedly had called the show from Dayton and said, The guy who's got Erica is Charlie, before hanging up.
It's getting rougher and rougher as the days go on, Mr. Baker said. I have to keep remembering this is why I'm here, to find my daughter, regardless.
