CYCLONES 5, MILWAUKEE 2

Rookie goalie makes 30 saves

MILWAUKEE — The Cincinnati Cyclones utilized a 30-save performance from rookie goaltender Brian Regan and a pair of goals from Todd Hawkins and Burt Henderson for a 5-2 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals Tuesday at the Bradley Center.

The Cyclones played the game with seven regulars out of the lineup because of injuries.

“Tonight's game was a total team effort,” Cyclones coach Ron Smith said. “This has been a long road trip and we were shorthanded between the injuries and callups. I am pleased by the way everybody stepped up and contributed.”
