Who's the 'greatest living player' now?

Joe DiMaggio was named the “greatest living ballplayer” in a 1969 poll of players and media members. Who should assume that title now? Give us your opinion.

Tell us who and why (in 100 words or less, please). E-mail your response to gnoble@enquirer.com.

Include your name, hometown (or Greater Cincinnati neighborhood) and phone number (if you're willing to be contacted by a reporter).

Deadline is midnight Thursday. Results will be posted Sunday.
