Mason's Williams, Lackey share top honors

AP Sports Writer

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Mason senior star Dallas Williams and coach Gerry Lackey shared top honors as player and coach of the year, respectively, on the 1999 Associated Press Division I All-Ohio girls basketball team announced today.

Mason sophomore Michelle Munoz and Mount Notre Dame senior Sarah Allen were selected to the second team.

Williams shared top player award with Pickerington's LaToya Turner and Kaayla Chones of Eastlake North. Williams, a 6-0 senior, has averages of 18 points and 8.6 rebounds while frequently sitting out the fourth quarter of her team's lopsided wins.

In Division II, Lisa Knapp of defending state champion Hamilton Badin split player of the year honors with Angie Sherk of state poll champion Shelby and Bexley's K.B. Sharp.
