The CCM 'campus village'

Major components of College-Conservatory of Music's new campus village are:
Dieterle Vocal Arts Center, a renovation of Schmidlapp Hall. It houses voice and opera faculty studios, choral rehearsal spaces and vocal and opera coaching. Opened in 1995.
A renovation of Corbett Auditorium; opened in 1996.
Memorial Hall, a former dormitory that has been transformed to music practice rooms, teaching studios for instrumental and piano faculty and home of the keyboard division office. Opened in 1996.
Corbett Center for the Performing Arts combines new and renovated space for scene and costume shops, scenic and sound design studios and a lighting laboratory. It also includes of fice and facilities for the dance division and jazz, drama and musical theater departments. Opened in 1997 and 1998.
A new studio theater for workshop and lab productions and a new 300-seat recital hall that will be home to the Faculty Artist Series, chamber music concerts and student recitals. Opens this fall.
The reconstruction of Mary Emery Hall and Plaza will include a new electronic media center as well as administrative and faculty offices, classrooms and a four-level parking garage. It will be home to the divisions of electronic media, composition, theory, music education and music history and literature. Opens this fall.
