Detours necessary to eastbound U.S. 50

Drivers eastbound on Fort Washington Way trying to get to eastbound U.S. 50 Saturday will have to find a different route.

The ramp will be closed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturdayfor demolition of part of the bridge that leads to One Lytle Place.

Motorists trying to get to U.S. 50 east or Interstate 471 south can take the Pete Rose Way exit, go east to Broadway. Go north on Broadway and take that to Fifth Street to get to an entrance ramp to I-471 southbound and a ramp to the Fifth Street Viaduct and eastbound U.S. 50.

Motorists trying to get to eastbound U.S. 50 can also take the Pete Rose Way exit and go east to Eggleston Avenue. The entrance ramp is just north of Pete Rose Way on Eggleston Avenue.
