Campaign urges organ donations
BY JOHN ECKBERG
The Cincinnati Enquirer
MacConnell Marketing Communications delivered an advertising campaign for Lifeline of Ohio, an organ-procurement organization that serves central and southeastern Ohio and northern West Virginia. The public education campaign, which coincides with National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Week, will continue through May. The effort to increase positive awareness about organ and tissue donation recognized families who participated in donation programs.
The campaign delivers our message in a most creative, attention-getting respect, said Linda Jones, Lifeline of Ohio's chief executive officer. We needed to explore fresh, new ways to let people know how important it is to tell families about the decision to become organ and tissue donors. MacConnell Marketing Communications' concept has accomplished exactly that.
