Limited Inc. shares up 11 percent




        Limited Inc. rose $5.25, or 11.76 percent, to $49.871/2 Tuesday on a volume of 3,947,900, more than three times its 13-week average daily trading volume.

        The largest U.S. specialty clothing retailer, based in Columbus, expects earnings of 14 cents a share in the fiscal first quarter ended Saturday and 18 cents in the second. It was forecast to earn 10 cents in the first and 15 cents in the second. The company — whose stores include Lerner New York, Express and Structure — also said it will buy back as much as 6.6 percent of its stock outstanding.
