• Futuristic degree: Here's what managed care hath wrought: a doctor with a business degree. The University of Cincinnati is offering an MD/MBA program that allows medical students to earn their master's in business administration. The aim, UC says, is doctors with “a greater understanding of economics, finance, marketing and management.” With special training in convincing insurers to pay? Just a thought.
