        • Critic's picks: If you can't make it to Paramount's Kings Island, then ride the Beast on the Top 10 Coasters on the Discovery Channel (8 p.m.). And if Erich Kunzel's National Memorial Day Concert (8 p.m., Channels 48, 54, 16) isn't your thing, TV Critic John Kiesewetter recommends The Passion of Ayn Rand (8 p.m. Showtime), starring Helen Mirren as the novelist who seduces a younger man (Eric Stoltz), or Tom Hanks' That Thing You Do (9 p.m., VH1).
