2 men indicted for in audio thefts
Cars damaged at high school
The Cincinnati Enquirer
LEBANON Two Franklin men were indicted Monday on a list of charges for allegedly smashing windows and stealing audio equipment from students' cars at Springboro High School.
Kelly Thomas, 32, and David Brogan, 20, are scheduled to be arraigned June 25 in Warren County Common Pleas Court on charges of breaking and entering, petty theft, grand theft, possession of criminal tools and criminal damaging.
School administrators called police April 7, after noticing that a number of cars in the student parking lot were broken into, Warren County Prosecutor Tim Oliver said.
As police surveyed the damage, Mr. Thomas and Mr. Brogan were observed driving through the parking lot, and officers stopped them.
Police confiscated a hammer from Mr. Thomas' car and later found car speakers, a CD player and numerous CDs at Mr. Thomas' home on South Main Street, Mr. Oliver said.
Of the five cars damaged, audio equipment was stolen from three of them, he said.
