        • Concert on the Green: It's the 10th annual event 8 p.m. today with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Erich Kunzel, conductor. Pack a picnic and blanket and grab a spot on the front lawn of Union Central Life Insurance, Forest Park. Grounds open 6 p.m. 595-5200.

        • Toe-tappin' time: Got the itch to dance? Head to any of the two-week dance camps offered by Mercy HealthPlex sites in Fairfield (682-1218) and Anderson Township (624-1893). STAYING IN
        • Critic's picks: Love riding The Beast? Then don't miss a Nova repeat about the evolution of the roller coaster and other thrill rides (8 p.m., Channels 48, 54, 16). TV Critic John Kiesewetter also notes that Forrest Sawyer hosts the second part of On the Inside: Twister Week (8 p.m. and 11 p.m., Discovery), while Biography profiles the Harlem Globetrotters (8 p.m. and midnight, A&E).

        • Web site of the day: Can't find guava paste at your neighborhood mega-market? Got a craving for dulce de leche? Go online. Hard-to-find Hispanic delicacies can be found at discount prices at: www.LatinGrocer.com.

THE GOODS
        (What's in stores today)

        • Critic's video pick: My Name Is Joe, from director Ken Loach, focuses on the struggle of a recovering alcoholic to save a young soccer player from a life of crime. Film critic Margaret A. McGurk points out Peter Mullan won the best actor award at the Cannes Film Festival for his work in this gritty drama, featuring Scottish accents so thick the movie uses subtitles.

BRAND SPANKING NEW
        • Soggy crackers: A summer edition of Nabisco Biscuit Co.'s Barnum's Animals Crackers adds underwater critters to the range of cookie shapes. (Sorry, no manatees.) Dolphins, sea turtles, crabs, sea horses and sharks join the ranks of the more familiar cookies shaped like elephants and lions. For every box of the marine collection sold, the company will donate 5 cents, up to $100,000 total, to the American Zoo and Aquarium Association's species survival programs.
